Make a One-time Donation

Become a Major Gifts Donor

Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire invites you to join our Major Gifts Donor Program. When you contribute $1,000 or more in a single calendar year, you become part of an extraordinary community of donors who share our passion for preventing and ending family homelessness.

Major Gifts Donors are recognized at our annual celebration each May, where we gather to honor the long-term commitment of those whose generosity makes our work possible.

Your recurring monthly gift provides reliable, year-round support for families working toward stability. Family Promise of Southern NH serves thousands of families and individuals each year through three core programs:

Give Stock

Donating appreciated stock is a tax-smart way to maximize your giving. When you donate stock directly to Family Promise of Southern NH, you give the full market value of the shares without triggering a capital gains tax event — meaning both you and our families benefit more.

In-Kind Donations

In-kind donations are gifts of goods, in lieu of money, that directly support the families in our care. These contributions help us provide the everyday essentials that families need as they work toward stability and a place to call home.

Before Donating Furniture

Due to limited space, we ask that you reach out to Matt Hodgkiss before bringing any furniture donation. He can confirm whether the item is needed and coordinate a convenient time for drop-off.

What We Accept

  • Clothing: For adults and children of all ages
  • Toys: New and gently used, to bring joy to the children we serve
  • Baby Equipment: Including strollers, highchairs, and other infant essentials
  • Diapers: All sizes welcome
  • (New) Bedding and Blankets: For single and full-size beds
  • (New) Personal Care Items: Including toiletries, shower curtains, and bathroom accessories
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Furniture: Limited availability; please contact us before donating to confirm our current need.

How to Donate

All clothing, toys, and baby equipment should be gently used, clean, and in good working condition.

Donate Your Car, Support a Family

Have a vehicle you no longer need? You can now donate it directly to Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire through our partnership with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services). Running or not, your donated car, truck, boat, or RV will be picked up for free and turned into support for local families experiencing homelessness, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
